HAPPY 2020

Happy summer! News and a collection of video tasting sessions to enjoy between your dips in the sea

We are a wonderful people, we have fought hard and defeated an invisible enemy. Now we must be “safer” and react to starting up again with enthusiasm and positivity. Some will carry on working, some will manage to find the time for a holiday, others will work remotely and others still will plan new adventures…I wish all of them a happy summer, in the hope that it brings serenity and tranquillity and helps us to rediscover the beauty of our beloved Italy.

In the meanwhile, a bit of advance news…:)
There will be many new items for the next autumn-winter period

A great new wine is on its way from a Tuscan area known for its excellence. We will soon reveal its name and we will try it together.
We will also continue to experiment with native white and red grapes at Fattoria di Calappiano, which will soon provide results, allowing us to rediscover the pleasure of tradition and drinkability in a modern key.
Follow us and we will update you as we go about our new future projects!

CONTRIBUTIONS

Small contributions for large causes

To help your neighbour does not just mean giving money and then forgetting about it, but trying to find ways that can really provide continuous support for places in difficulty, badly affected by Covid-19. We are happy to share our support activities with you that we are continuing to offer to our region; we have decided to give away a latest-generations machine to Pistoia hospital.

THE WINE OF THE MONTH

Mandriano

Toscana IGT Vermentino

Summertime, Italian holidays and fresh, fragrant wines. Il Mandriano is our Tuscan Vermentino. It is made in Maremma, on deep soil, rich in marine fossils and skeleton. From Vermentino grapes Aged in steel and has a straw yellow colour. The nose is of white flowers and peach, while it is fresh, springy, dynamic and willowy on the palate, with a final note of citrus fruit. It is pleasantly savoury.
