The proximity to the sea, Mediterranean climatic conditions, and calcareous soils of this area bestow finesse and purity to the Vermentino Mandriano Spumante. As with the still version, also the sparkling version of Vermentino conveys elegance and dynamism, pleasant and delicate fruity and floral aromas that, together with its aromatic quality, freshness, and the pleasant tactile presence of the bubbles, make it perfect for pairings with various seafood dishes, shellfish, fried fish, and vegetables.

Type of soil
Hilly terrain, loose and deep, rich in marine fossils and stony material. Predominantly sandy and sandy-marl soil, consisting of clay and limestone schists.
Alcohol
11 % vol.
Fermentation
Vinification and second fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation is carried out using the Martinotti/Charmat method in small autoclaves, with a period of rest on the lees.
Aging
Aged in the bottle for approximately 3 months.
Tasting notes
Color Brilliant straw yellow, with a fine and persistent perlage. Nose Intense and elegant aroma with fruity notes of apple, fresh almonds, and aromatic herbs. Palate Savory, full-bodied with a citrusy finish.
Food pairings
Ideal as an aperitif or as a wine to accompany the entire meal. It pairs well with fish dishes, cured meats, risottos, white meats, baked vegetables, and fresh cheeses.
